Costa Rica is an amazing place. There are 12 distinct ecosystems. A half million species can be found there. And the land stretches from the ocean to the mountains at nearly 10,000 feet.

Some feel that this new section, in the province of Galicia, is more like walking in Ireland than in other parts of Spain. It’s green!

We'll be staying on an historic 1,000-acre estate. It's a lovely place and a great location to paint.

We regularly head out into the world to explore new destinations for trips. Sometimes we love what we see and sometimes, not so much.

The alps are a lovely place to walk. Rocky peaks, green pastures, and grazing cows. But the question often arises whether it is better to hike in Austria or Switzerland.

When at home, a Tuesday blends into a hundred other Tuesdays and Wednesdays and Thursdays. But when traveling, time slows down.

Today I wish to share our favorite places to travel. Some are places where we run tours. Others are places we hope to in the future.

After tallying 40 countries, I can claim to have learned a few things about living and traveling abroad. I'd like to share them with you.

Leslie Jorgensen, the instructor for our Austrian Alps painting workshop, has produced a video to show folks what it will be like to paint the mountains next September.
