Unforgettable hiking and painting in the Austrian Alps

The Austrian alps are simply lovely and there is no better place, in our opinion, to schedule a hiking tour. The hotels are superb, the food is topnotch, and best of all, the hiking and painting is magnificent.

Our hiking tours are comprised of a series of day hikes, each led by our experienced group leader. We take advantage of the many cable cars and buses to start out hikes well up on the mountains. Once there at altitude, we’ll traverse around the mountain sides through alpine pastures, around mountain lakes, and from one scenic overlook to the next.

Our alpine painting workshop is led by an experienced painting instructor from Colorado, so that she knows the mountains well.

On our Austrian hiking tours, we start by settling into a single hotel. There is no need to move around during your tour.  The Austrians take great pride in their hospitality, and the meals are even better. We’ll be eating four-course meals which will leave you wishing you could eat even more.

Some of our tours include the option of staying a night in a mountain hut or renting a bicycle for a day to see the countryside on two wheels.
