How We Give Back
How Travel Fever shares its success
We’ve decided it’s time to share the success of Travel Fever Tours by giving back to the incredible places we visit on some of our tours. This year, we’re proud to support two great organizations making a difference in Mexico:
Vida Nueva Women’s Weaving Cooperative
Founded over 20 years ago near Oaxaca, this group started with a bold mission: giving women a secure income in an industry that was once considered "men’s work." After pushing through some tough early years, they’ve become a cornerstone of their community. Not only is the cooperative thriving, but it also gives back, sponsoring a new community project every single year.

Libros Para Pueblos
This nonprofit is doing amazing work for literacy, supporting over 60 libraries across the state of Oaxaca. Here’s the breakdown of their impact:
They buy 6,000–7,000 books from Mexican publishers every year.
Each library in their network gets about 100 fresh titles annually.
The organization also provides advice and support to the libraries.
Every library is a free lending library, ensuring kids can read without any barriers.
Travel Fever’s long-time Oaxaca group leader, Mimi Marchev, is the President of the Board of this group. We couldn't be prouder of the work she's doing.
