The Loire Valley’s food, culture, and amazing châteaux

Our guide, Simon Renault, will be at it again in France next May, leading a group to the Loire Valley in France. As a Frenchman, he loves sharing French cuisine and culture, and next year he’ll have the chance to show off the region’s many châteaux with us.

This river valley in central France has its own food traditions and the wines are excellent. The towns are picturesque and the sidewalk cafes are welcoming.

Amboise is the town where we’ll be based, home to the Château d'Amboise, the king’s palace, which is barely a half block from our hotel.

During our stay, we’ll visit a mushroom farm, the public market, more than a few castles, majestic gardens, and a vineyard. We’ll also visit the château that the king gifted to Leonardo Da Vinci and Da Vinci’s workshop there. And naturally, we’ll eat quite well.
