New walking tour in the Cotswolds, England
Think sweeping views of rolling countryside, with fields neatly highlighted by hedgerows. Think pubs. And since it will be April, imagine the air filled with bird song and the fields full of wildflowers.
Our new walking trip has all this in an area considered one of the loveliest in the UK. And to top it off, we'll stay in quaint inns and bed and breakfasts in typical English villages.
Our guide, Sharon, lives just 10 miles from the Cotswold Way, our walking path. She’ll guide us on our walks and also provide a window into English ways.
This is a through-hike where we move from town to town along the route, although we’ll stay several nights in a few of our locations. Your bags will be transported for you and we’ve planned several very English picnic lunches.
This walk is a bit more difficult than our other walking trips. As is explained more fully on our website, our route will take us through some mud and over roots and small rocks. And there are some hills (but it is still a walking trip. It isn’t hiking.) Our distances are not overly long (5-8 miles).
Learn More About This Trip that runs April 20 to 28, 2027. The tour is well located if you would like to add on some time in London or elsewhere in the UK.
Also, if you want a good glimpse of the Cotswold, watch a show on Amazon Prime called Clarkson’s Farm. It’s also a good laugh.
