New video takes you inside the food & culture of Oaxaca, Mexico

We led a Travel Fever tour to Oaxaca in late January to explore the region’s foods and culture. The trip was a great success, with many thanks to our two knowledgeable group leaders, Mimi Marchev and Oliver Froehling, who live in Oaxaca and seem to know everyone in the entire city. We ate well, but the trip was so much more than that.

Oaxaca is an especially fascinating place because of the 16+ ethnic groups in the region, each with its own food and culture and often with its own language.

Next year we plan to return to Oaxaca. We’ll spend a few days in the city, but then head to the Pacific coast to explore new parts of Oaxaca State (and enjoy the unspoiled beach). More information soon.
