A Five-star garden and estate tour in Ireland

We had a wonderful experience in Northern Ireland in June as we led an artist workshop on a grand estate. We loved it so much we immediately knew we had to return and return there soon. So we’ve planned another tour in the same place, but with a different focus.

The result is a trip to visit an array of gardens and estates, both in Northern Ireland and over the border in the Republic of Ireland. And we’ll be there in June, with lots of flowers blooming.

We'll be staying again at Ashbrooke House, a manor on a 1,000-acre estate. The accommodations were fabulous in June, we had a private chef to prepare all our meals, and we had full run of the estate, including its walking paths, stables, and walled garden.

We are very fortunate to have secured that same chef again, and even luckier to be working with the estate owners. They are wonderful people who saw to our every need and never hesitated to share stories and family history.

We'll tour a good number of estates, both those open to the public and some private gardens that the general public rarely gets to see. And, of course, we’ll start with the place where we’re staying, with its miles of manicured fields and forests.

This trip offers a full 5-star experience, from the accommodations to the cuisine. And don’t miss the falconry workshop and time with the horses during an introduction to equine therapy. Did I mention the traditional Irish music?
